The Nevis Suite at Munro Guest House

Wonderful, great situation. Walking distance to nice restaurants and Tesco. Stirling castel Positive: Wonderful view, comfortable beds, quiet, parking better than expected, easy to walk to nearby restaurants in the evening and for breakfast, used the kitchen for a re heated ready meal from nearby Tesco's one night so that was good. Didn't use the tv as too busy chatting with my sister. Negative: The shower. The bathroom looked magnificent, beautifully fitted out. But then the Mira shower was such a disappointment, it was a dribble. There was a rain head and a separate hand held shower which was great but the pressure was so low it was not what I was hoping for. Plus both my sister and I are 5 foot high, with the restriction on the hand held shower head it hard to rinse below one's waist. So a power shower and unrestricted hand held would turn this into a spa experience!

Great location, brilliant for kids, but no adequate bag storage Positive: Lovely apartment, perfect for families. In a really ideal location, really close to the train station, the shops and also the castle and old town jail. There's even a really nice park at the the top of the street that my daughter loved. She loved the bunk beds too and said it was like Harry Potter! Negative: We weren't able to store our luggage, which was a real pain for us, and I might have booked somewhere else if I'd known about this prior to booking. Check out is at 10am which is early, and we would have liked to have left our backpacks in the hall cupboard and returned later to pick them up. I was told I couldn't leave them later than 11.30am, because of the key system, which for us was a bit pointless. There was also a strange low volume buzzing sound, which we never managed to work out the source of! Wasn't enough to cause diruption to sleep but was a bit odd.

Positive: The view is incredible. Loved the property. The key code access was easy especially if you read the manual they send you. Negative: We were on top floor sleeps 4 with a kitchen but seating with kids for eating was a challenge. We made the best of it by having picnics on the floor. Also parking is quite far away

Perfect- lovely accommodation! Positive: Lovely view from Nevis Suite. Perfect location. Suite was clean, modern and comfortable. Staff and information provided are excellent. Would stay there again. Negative: Nothing.
